OnBoard’s Annual Study

Since 1993, OnBoard’s Annual Study has set the standard for tracking women’s representation on corporate boards, using progress in Georgia as a barometer for the national landscape.

Women directors hold 27% of board seats in 2025, unchanged from 2024.

Women directors of color hold just under 7% of seats, showing slight upward movement year-over-year.

“Power of 3” companies, those with three or more women directors comprise 45% of Georgia public companies.

Five companies achieved gender parity in 2025, down from eight in 2024. Time will tell whether this signals a lasting trend or a temporary dip.

OnBoard strengthens the pipeline by equipping women candidates to articulate the strength of their qualifications and guiding boards to broaden how they identify and recruit directors.
